iPhone Workshop for iPhones with a physical Home Button: With each new iPhone and iOS update, Apple has included everything you could want in a modern, high-end smartphone—multiple features, flexibility and the world’s best-selling camera. But it doesn’t include instructions on how to use all the features you’ve heard about!

iPhone Workshop for iPhones without a physical Home Button: Every September Apple releases new iPhones and this year will be no exception. Most of the new phones have done away with the home button, and this workshop is designed to teach you all the new features of these types of phones.

Navigating Your Mac   This workshop is designed to help you take control of your Apple computer. You’ll learn how to customize your Mac for your preferences. We’ll touch on Mail, Safari, handling PDFs, iCal and the iCloud.This class sells out fast, so sign up early!

The Apple Watch   Computing is turning to “wearables” such as the FitBit and the Apple Watch. This workshop will show you how to maximize the benefits of using an Apple Watch and how it ties to your iPhone and so much more. It’s like having a mini-iPhone on your wrist.

Organizing and Editing Your Photos on a Mac   What are the most precious files on your computer?  I would guess it’s your photographs. This workshop will teach you about workflow: from camera to computer. I’ll show you the tools I use to organize my photos. We’ll be using the Photos App built into the Mad to optimize your photos and get your workflow organized.

What to do with all the photographs you take:

Part 1: Making a book using Apple’s Pages application

OK, now you have the photos what do you do with them? One easy thing to do is to make a book. Perhaps you have been using the template-based programs, like Snapfish or Shutterfly. Using templates can be frustrating. This workshop will introduce you to Apple’s Pages application, a wonderful way to get your books to look the way YOU want them to. It’s fun and easy.

What to do with all the photographs you take:

Part 2: Making a short video using Apple’s iMovie application

You’ve been on a fabulous trip and collected images, video and perhaps audio. This workshop will introduce you to iMovie, an application that allows you to to stich together your media. Your goal will be to make a two-minute movie, but you have to come to the workshop with media to work with.
