You have hundreds—no thousands—of photogrpahs in your Photos Library on your Apple Computer. You have probably learned how to edit, tone and crop your photographs. And you have tons of video clips, panoramas, and more. But what do you do with them besides post them on Facebook or email them to family or friends.

This workshop will introduce you to Apple’s visual application, iMovie, that allows you to create stunning presentations by mixing your still photographs, video clips and music.

We will use iMovie for Mac, where you can browse your photos and clips easily, instantly share your favorite moments and create hollywood-style traliers and beautiful movies in stunning 4K.

Movie editing has never been easier.  Just choose the clips you want to use, insert titles, add effects and transitons and create a full soundtrack with music or sound effects with powerful tools that are as simple as drag and drop.

You can even create your own narration. iMove for Mac and iMove ofor iOS are designed to work together. So now you can start a project on your iPhone, continuing working on your iPad and add the final touches on your Mac. And with iMovie Theater, all your finished movies and trailers appear on all your devices.

When you finish this workshop, you will leave with the skills to produce short, entertaining and informative presentations.

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is for participants with Apple computers running the latest Mac OS X software. By the Fall of 2016 we should have OS X 10.12 available, nicknamed Sierra. You must be on this operating system to take this workshop.
