Organizing and Editing Your Photos Using a Mac

Limited to 8 Participants

Wednesday,  February 7, 2018      12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Thursday,     February 8, 2018      12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Friday,          February 9, 2018      12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This 3-day workshop will literally change your life--or at least change the way you look at and work with digital photographs.

In this fun workshop, you’ll learn about the most practical way to organize your photos using your Mac computer, iPyone and iPad by using the Photos App, which now can sync across all Apple devices and has replaced both Aperture and iPhoto.

Now that you’veshot all those photos and movie clips, how are you going to organize them? How will you find the photos you shot of your child’s first birthday? What about your vacation to the Black Sea—where are those photos? What was the name of that rare plant your photographed in the Everglades?

You’ll learn in an informative yet entertaining way as I explain difficult concepts so you understand the “why” behind the “how.” In this workshop you will learn how to choose what photos to import to your computer and how to edit, crop, adjust and keyword your images. You’ll even learn how to read metadata so you can use it to become a better photographer.

One you have all your photos organized, you’ll discover how much easier it becomes to be creative: to build albums and slide shows; to publish books and notecards or calendars; to share images to a website or via email or text; or to make prints to hang on your wall.
